Hence, it is possible to use this charging pad to power most laptops that charge through USB-C.

But even with the wireless version, you still need to connect a cable to it for charging.
The advantage of the wireless version is that you wouldn’t need to plug a cable into your phone each time you want to charge it, unlike with this vent mount. While I have a USB-C-to-Lightning cable set up in my car for fast charging, I find the extra step of plugging in the cable each time I want to charge my phone a bit inconvenient.

Although the MagArm may be larger and more substantial than other laptop MagSafe mounts, it is solidly built. The suction cup can be peeled off your laptop without leaving any marks, and it can be reattached when needed.
