Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that abolishing NAB will benefit the economy.

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is an institution that is harming the economy and democracy.

Speaking at Parliament House on Tuesday, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistan People’s Party and Muslim League-N have agreed to abolish NAB and it is also in the manifesto of both parties.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the abolition of NAB will benefit the economy and business people will benefit.

“NAB is an institution for discrediting politicians, an institution for political engineering, an institution for the economy of the country and an institution for damaging the country’s democracy.”

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that even the biggest supporters of NAB may want to end it today.

He said that how many times politicians will have to go to jail and come to parliament after being discharged with honor.

He said that decide that you will do politics and have political differences, but there is no need to send each other to jail to advance your politics.

Bilawal Bhutto said that if there is a consensus on this and our old demand is implemented, then the economy will also benefit, the business community will have the courage to work together with the government.

According to Bilawal Bhutto, “If due to any national interest, you cannot implement the abolition of NAB, the public-private partnership should be exempted from NAB, like the SIFC project was exempted.”
