Not giving up, will stay in the race until the end: President Joe Biden

US President Joe Biden has expressed his determination to remain in the race for the 2024 presidential election, saying that no one is pulling him out and he is not withdrawing.

According to the British news agency Reuters, President Joe Biden on Wednesday held calls with campaign staff and meetings with Democratic lawmakers and governors.

The American President said during the meetings “No one is taking me out.” I am not giving up.

According to sources, Joe Biden placed a call with distraught members of his team and said he was not giving up.

“Nobody is kicking me out,” the US president wrote in a separate email. I’m not giving up. I will be a part of this race till the end.

Meanwhile, a group of state governors belonging to the Democratic Party say they stand with President Joe Biden.

The US President interacted with more than 20 governors of his party at the White House.

The governors told reporters after the talks that they expressed their concerns about the performance of the debate last week.

However, he disagreed with other Democrats that he (Joe Biden) should drop out of the race.

“The president is our nominee,” said Governor Wes Moore. The president is the leader of our party.

He further said that ‘Biden was very confident in the meeting that he would win this race.’

After last week’s debate with Donald Trump, some supporters expressed skepticism about Joe Biden, 81.

During the debate, Joe Biden’s answers were unclear and he also stuttered. Americans have many concerns about the president’s age and health, but Thursday’s poor performance in the debate reinforced those concerns.

Last week on Thursday, the first debate between the Democratic candidate Joe Biden and the Republican candidate Donald Trump for the presidential election took place, in which the current president’s performance was “weak”, but Trump made serious accusations against him.

In the live presidential debate, the two candidates shared their views on abortion, immigration, the war in Ukraine and Gaza, the economy, and other issues.

President Joe Biden’s performance has been “shaky”, with the White House explaining that he had a sore throat and a cold.

Joe Biden’s performance has raised concerns in the Democratic Party about whether the 81-year-old presidential candidate will be able to convince his voters that he is capable of serving as president for the next four years.
