Nana Patekar is a ‘habitual liar’ and feared: Actress Tanushree Dutta

After Indian actor Nana Patekar denied the ‘me too’ allegations against her, actress Tanushree Dutta reacted and called him a ‘habitual liar’.

“They are scared,” Tanushree Dutta said while talking to The Indian Express.

In 2018, Tanushree Dutta claimed that Nana Patekar tried to sexually harass her during the shooting of the 2008 film Horn Ok Please.

In a recent interview, Nana Patekar answered questions regarding the allegations against him. “I knew all the allegations were false,” he said. So I didn’t get angry. Why should I be angry when everything was a lie? And all those things are old. What can we talk about them? Everyone knew the truth. What could I say when nothing like that happened? Suddenly someone says you did this, you did that. How would I answer all these things? Should I have said I didn’t? I know for a fact that I have not done anything.

Reacting to this news, Tanushree Dutta said that after the incident of slapping a Varanasi boy during the shooting of Anil Sharma’s film, the whole world knows how big a liar Nana Patekar is. Nana first tried to make it look like slapping the child was part of the shoot and then faced severe public backlash for trying to cover up the abuse. Then suddenly took a U-turn and half-heartedly apologized.

Reacting to the need to talk about the allegations almost six years later, Tanushree Dutta said: ‘I will tell you why because they know that I am accused of conspiracy to murder, criminal threats, and bodily harm against Nana. I am considering another FIR.

He further said that now they are scared and their support base in Bollywood has reduced. All the people who supported him have either gone bankrupt or alienated him. People can now see their manipulation. Nana Patekar is a pathological liar.

To support her claims, Tanushree Dutta gave examples of several actors and directors who have spoken against her and asked if they were all liars.
