TikTok Erased 2 Crore Videos of Pakistani Users
ISLAMABAD: Video-sharing app TikTok has deleted more than 2 crore videos of Pakistani users from the platform during the first quarter of 2024.
In such a manner, the report given by the organization has expressed that crores of videos are published on TikTok, whose content is taken a look at under the standards of local community standard guidelines.
According to the report, TikTok removed 166.69 million 97 thousand 307 videos worldwide from the platform for violating community guidelines between January and March 2024, which is the total number of videos posted on TikTok during this period. is equal to 0.9 percent. More than 22.27 million videos were deleted in Pakistan during this period.

During the quarter, TikTok deleted and filtered more than 976.4 million comments using comment safety tools for the first time. According to the company, about 93.9 percent of videos that violated the guidelines were deleted within 24 hours of being posted.
CutTalk also removed 21639414 accounts from the platform whose creators were under the age of 13.
