YouTube Assures Users to Delete AI Fake Videos

California: YouTube has implemented privacy guidelines that allow people to request the removal of AI-generated videos that mimic them.

According to Media News, YouTube has assured users of the new rules. The agency said that if someone has used AI to alter or create a user’s videos that look like the original user, a removal request can be made, which will be processed within 48 hours.

The rules and regulations state that for such videos to be removed, the content must contain an altered realistic likeness of you as shown in the AI version. We will also consider the following various other factors while reviewing the complaint.

Video may be converted by AI.

The video is displayed to the viewer as modified or AI.

The user can be identified in the video.

The video is realistic.

The video may contain parody, satire, or other public-interest content.
