First Turkish-made satellite was launched with a SpaceX rocket
FLORIDA: After a two-hour weather delay, SpaceX has launched the first Turkish-made satellite into space from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station by attaching it to a Falcon 9 rocket.
The SpaceX rocket carrying the Turkish satellite is the 50th rocket launched this year from the US state of Florida. 8 minutes after launch, the SpaceX drone landed on the ship.
The Turkish satellite, a domestic communication satellite, is named Ruksat 6A. The satellite was released into orbit approximately 70 minutes after liftoff adjacent to the rocket.
